Hermanna Stengård is someone that people talk about on Gotland. She was born in 1861 and did pioneer work by collecting old textiles, mostly knitted. She left her collection to Gotlands läns Hemslöjdsförening. We have been given the opportunity to borrow some of the pieces from the collection to show in our exhibition this summer.
