WE HAVE ALSO GOT TWO DIFFERENT KNITTINGBOOKS (in Swedish) BASED ON OLD GOTLANDIC KNITTING!

Ateljé Huskroken has been in Gotland for more than ten years. In October 2011 we move to Jakobsberg in Järfälla northwest of Stockholm with all our business. We want to come closer to our children and grandchildren that lives around there.

In Jakobsberg we will continue with dying our yarns in the same way as before. We will continue to work together with the sheep-farmers in Gotland and with Gotlands Spinneri for producing the wool-yarn. We will also continue to work with the ecological cotton that comes from Peru. We visited the cotton-farmers there in the spring 2011 and it was very intresting to see all the production process. We will also continue with dying yarn out of flax. The Swedish Foundation for Nature Conservation have still environmentally approved our yarns.

We want to go on with giving inspiration to you that loves handicrafting and our yarns. You are welcome to visit us at our little shop. We will open up when you take contact with us and we can set a time together for your visit. As usual you can buy yarn by e-mail or telephone and during the autum we will open up a new web-shop.
